| When you move the peep up the string, you still bring it to eye level for looking through. But now, the nocking point is further from the peep, so the back of the arrow is lower down, making it point upwards more than before. With the arrow pointing upwards it lands higher up the target. |

| It's the same principle as adjusting your windage. You move the sight in the direction your arrows are hitting the boss (arrow hits to the left, move windage to the left and so on). If you move your peep up, your arrows will go high...

| Angry Gaz, I think the peep works in the opposite way from the front sight. If arrows land low, you lower the front sight. If arrows land low, you raise the peep sight to get the same effect. |
