Axis FMJ & Tailwind

Hi

Anybody else noticed a drop in sight marks (about a metre) from about 30m & up on the Axis Fmj's ? when shooting with a Tailwind?

Shooting a Guardian compound @ 58lb with arrow coming in at around 389g.

Cheers

no have not noticed, but any target movement is possible in windy conditions with any arrow.

When it is Windy our field really catches it usually left right sometimes from behind, I have been shooting FMJ's since late last season and have never noticed a drop in sight marks on windy days, there is the obvious left and right misses but that is more due to not being able to stand up straight and wind drift but there is not usually too much of that with them. As long as I can keep the scope on the target they go where I aim, i have noticed they fly tail out in a side wind.

If it makes any difference I use spin wings.

Definite tail wind yesterday, it was gusting and changing Left Right a little, no affect on sight marks, but I have decided we need flags at the club so I can see if the wind changes direction it really made a mess of my AIUK April round .
