I have already offered to hold a brolly over Dom when he shoots but it seems it is not allowed as the judge needs to see down the line.

May go out and by a clear one or a GNAS white one

anyway a bit of water will not hurt you

I'm afraid that along with half the juniors we gave up after 9 doz - there is just so much water that you can absorb into you! It just wasn't fun for them!

We were shooting Fast but it could not have been fast enough for me, I made it till the bitter end, but never again I am now off work ill and feeling very sorry for myself, I ran for the car as soon as it was over cant even remember my score think it was 1240 something which considering the weather and the fact I really did not care by the end was quite miraculous.

You better be booking good weather for next weekend's FITA pete cos I'm not doing that again, county selection or not which was the reason it carried on.

Been there, done that. After 6 doz or so you lose the will to live never mind finish the round. As you know I haven't entered any this season ,I kept looking out of the window and thinking how glad I was that I hadn't. They should have called it a day at half way and scored it as a long metric. Absolutly crazy to go the distance in that weather and they wonder why people are put off competition shooting! Hope you're better soon Paul and that youre perseverence is rewarded with a place in the team.
