EMAS and Northamptonshire Field Champs

Anyone booked in to shoot at this event.

I've heard it's full which is good to hear.

Nope never done Field and the champs is probably not a good first time to try, you and your dad will have to take me out some time and teach me the finer points. Am I correct in saying it has to be raining or else that cancel it .

I will be there, only shot field three times, last two with longbow but thought I would see how it goes with the recurve.

Previous experience is that the archers are very helpful and friendly to novices in field archery.

The organisers told me they had three places left midweek.

Spoke to Anne and John today (organisers) and apparently its full. They actually had more entries than spaces but a couple of people dropped out.

It should be really good fun.

I know most of the top gents compound archer's in the country are all booked in to shoot so that should be a really close competition.

I really enjoyed the shoot despite the bad weather on the saturday

I surprised myself a bit with my scores (333 and 347) as it was my first field shoot in about 6 years.

I hope everyone else enjoyed the shoot.

I'm just glad the shoot finished Sunday cause the course was far worse today we had to go out and put the EFAA pegs back out and it had rained again over night

This shoot at the weekend was great, and despite the weather there where some excellant scores shot, and as always the food was really really good.
