May well have done, I wore shorts on Sunday too.

PB's for me for the FITA (1095) and 70m (573) (morning session).

Collected 2 medals and the lady P prize for the 70m, but alas they were for Big D, Big Bird and Derise at Savile.

I did win a bottle on the raffle though.

I had a great time, shooting in the rain, camping in the rain, driving home in the rain!

I blame Mick entirely for the bad weather, he was the only one that wore shorts for the whole two days and thats just asking for it.

Mind you he does have very shapely legs for a man of his age!!

well my day did not go quite to plan , i had been away for a week then not shot for another week and only got a few dozen arrows in on the Friday night so not the best preperation for my first FITA competition

so i did not beat my PB , made a prat of myself by scoring a 14 end in the rain and got very wet like everyone esle.

Still managed to enjoy myself and met some more very good archers.

onwards and upwards to the Glen Double 70 in September !!!!!

P.S nice to meet you Mick ( agree about the legs !)

Nice one Mick! Resultamundo.

What's the Lady P prize? Is it chocolate? Enquiring minds need to know.

Well Lowfat, I wouldn't feel too bad about that 14 end if I were you. The rain came down and reduced one of my ends to a mere 6. I kid you not! My first end shot in the rain ever - and let's just say it was a learning experience.

I now know that you 'aim high' thanks for that helpful, albeit slightly late advice Medoc.

Not a complaint - merely an observation.

Pah-ha!! I'm sure you'd much rather have a nice bottle of wine.
