The entry form is now available at Friskney Bowmen - Entry Forms

I believe only 17 places are left after pre-allocations from last years winners.

I spoke to the Malcolm (the organiser) on Thursday and only 5 places were left. I suggest you ring on the number on the entry form before sending the cheque.

Myself and my daughter Sarah have got places on all the morning rounds, just confirmed with Malcolm that he got our entries.

21 years since I shot the Friskney Bowmen indoors series !!! My daughter is jumping up and down with excitement. I have asked Malcolm if there are any no shows on the day,if my daughter can have the chance of taking an afternoon round, and I got a thumbs up for her. I think it's more important for her than me. She may only be 9, but when she picks up her bow, she has got fire in her belly, she is SO determined. I think its because her big sister beats her at everything, academically and sporting, but this is the one thing Sarah can top her sister at.

See you there guys !!!

I'm sure she will enjoy herself. The indoor is fairly relaxed but you tend to get different archers from our outdoor competitions so she will meet different people.

BTW Malcolm tells me all the full day places have now gone and only a few half days are left.

She got her first gold medal today at 36 big game/3D. Admittedly, there were no more under 12 girls in compound limited, BUT, there were some boys in the same class, and she beat the no 1 boy by 70 points.

She will really enjoy that, she was with an all adult group today, and wished that she could have been in a group with some other kids. I could not shoot as it was our own course, so I was Marshalling, and she went round with a chaperon.

Monday 10th Sept 10.50am

Please DO NOT send an entry without phoning Malcolm Adams first to confirm available sessions. All full days have been filled and there is now a waiting list. There are still some single sessions available but these are very limited.

A week is a long time in friskney archery.
I take a weeks holiday and when I come back (yesterday) the entry form is on my doormat having arrived by post. Too late for team Grimsby. No places left.

Chris, at least one individual entry was received from Grimsby via a downloaded form from our website. We were speakng to Malcolm today and he confirmed that we were already over subscribed for the series. Silver Spoons entries were in and paid for on the 31st of August - 2 days after the entry forms were sent out, so if they can do it........ and Malcolm did not get any phonecalls asking to reserve places from anyone waiting to go on a group or team entry. But we have at least one Grimsby member to wave the flag

To be fair to previous champions we gave them a 6 day 'head start' before releasing the entries to the public, and some of those haven't responded yet, so no place!
