If we are worried about arrow damage we could pin 2 80cm faces up per target on those that choose. They would be folded back so you could only see the red/blue. Any good?

Generally I prefer shooting sixes, but I have a dicky bow arm elbow joint at the moment, which is agravated by archery, so if I have a preference it would be threes or fours. But I am happy to go with the majority. Not sure what to bring food wise, but will try to think of something.

The second item does not need to be decided till the day but it is arrows per end, 3 or 6? There is a target list here - http://www.archery-interchange.com/f...?do=file&id=69 so you can see who you are shooting with. We have 7 Dozen arrows at 30M would anyone object to shooting 6 arrow ends, I will ask again on the day.

If Sambow has a problem shooting in sixes i think we should shoot in threes.

If you need lots of time to shoot 6 that is not a problem shoot rest etc we will not have a stop watch so no 4 minute rounds, I think it is the scoring that takes the time, if you are physically having problems shooting 6 then we are not going to push it, just see how it feels on the day we can play it by ear start with 6 if you feel up to it and drop to 3 if you struggle.

It is a fun shoot after all, not at all competitive, well except me and Mace anyway just need to beat Mace and ill be happy although I suspect that may not happen this year .

Was going to suggest a Half time comfort break anyway, especially if it gets cold.

Just a couple of questions

What time are we starting at Merlin?

Since I have no 30m sight mark at the moment. Is there time to get one first, is this frowned upon? or are we straight into the sighters?

All the best
Dave
