Dave,

Unless Paul has changed the time it'll be 11am for 11.30am sighters. Because it's a (albeit fairly informal) competition there will only be 6 sighter arrows allowed before the competition starts.

Since I have no 30m sight mark at the moment. Is there time to get one first, is this frowned upon? or are we straight into the sighters?

All the best
Dave

Yea I have seen him outdoors He beat me last time out , I tried to get some sight marks today as I have never shot my FMJ's out of this bow, I had to use the car as a wind break just to stop the arrows falling off the rest, so they are probably way out.

We will be straight into sighters, but I would not worry too much about it, I am sure you are not the only one mine are only approximate.

Yes The Times are the same as everyone else's 11:00 for 11:30 start (sighters), see you all there.

Weather not looking as good as it was last year-

Rain, 15mph wind with 39mph gusts, on the positive side the visibility will be good .

Sorry folks :(

Unfortunatly due to another commitment at short notice means I'll have to miss the shoot (when sighters start I'll be nearer to the Lincon shoot than Merlin).
Hopefuly there'll be a reserve to take my place at such short notice.
With luck and a following wind, I may be able to drop by and deliver some nibbles before you all leave
Meanwhile good shooting everybody.

Sorry About that Nigel we will save you some pringles

Anyone know of someone who can shoot at late notice to take the place up would be good to have full bosses, I will be shooting one my own other wise, suppose it saves me having a shower before I leave if no one needs to stand too close :zombie.

Here's the address -
Merlin
Bull In The Hollow
Leicester Road
Loughborough
LE12 8UE

Directions to Merlin

It's a bit easier to get to if you get on the A6 out of Lufbra, heading towards Quorn. Merlin is on the left just before the road widens to the dual carridgeway section.
Be careful it's very easy to go straight past the enterance, even if you go regularly
