Well done as well to Mick and Dibble who came first and second for recurve in the Countersthrope triple and to me!for coming 4th and 2nd in the handicap adjusted

Scored 493 in the Fita 18 , did well for the first 2 dozen then it went to pot, so did not get the 500 i wanted

Same here had a good 2nd & 3rd dozen then went completley to pot, but got 494 , look forward to seeing the full results.

James was a little shocked when he saw he had to shoot on the 3 spots but he did well for a little fella (although he couldn't reach the top spot to pull his arrow )

Cheers Lowfat and well done yourself, I had a lousy shoot, hot, out of practice and suffering from nicotine withdrawal symptoms, are among my list of excuses.
Just as well I had a good lead going into the last leg or that young upstart dibble would have pinched it :-) Seriously Well shot Dibble I can see we'd all better watch out come the county selection shoots.

Thank You again you are so kind I think I was alucky on the day, I don't think I scared anyone and I really hope he does not see this as he may well come looking for a match that really would not be plesant , but was very pleased to place considering the level of competition, you should have seen the look on my face when I realised nearly every other compound shooter in my session was Shop/Manufacturer sponsored, shot for GB or Both. The fact that I had not expected to be competitive was a blessing as I was not too nervous, though my first dozen was not too hot 110 and there was an 8 in there , the end score was a surprise (I try not to keep track through the comp) plus I got a PB and that is always nice , I think there were several high scores in my session, I'm waiting to see the results, luckily they were the second shoot of the day and only the first ones counted.

Was watching him trying to get some pointers he was fantastically steady may have been shooting BT release but could not see for sure and did not ask, should have hung around a while and watched Terry on his second session.
