Summer 2007 VGP
Who has signed up for the Summer AIUK VGP, As I am target captain next year I have made sure at Lutterworth we will be shooting a Matching round to the VGP each month, I have signed up for Division 1 which is predominantly 90M or 100 Yard Rounds. There will be Different distances for different abilities and proper Bows .

If anyone wants to Join us for any of the rounds or at any other time for that matter you will be more than welcome we do charge a target fee for guests which I think is £2, we shoot On Saturday afternoons 1:30 setup 2pm Start. Exact dates have not been set yet it will probably be 2nd or 3rd Saturday each month chosen not to conflict with local Tounament's

If there is enough Interest, I will try and Make the American into a formal meeting, but that is a long way off yet and I would need to discuss it with Dave to make sure it does not interfere with the official AIUK American shoot.

Schedule at the moment is -

March - Warwick’s
April - National’s
May - Western’s
June - Metric’s Long/Short
July - Fita 70m or Short Metric’s
August - Warwick’s
September - American’s
October - National’s
November - Warwick’s

i am sure dibble , big dog and myself will be interested , dibble and myself have entered the VGP not sure about big dog but he may enter yet , i have entered the shorter distance rounds as i am not shooting at full distance yet but that is the goal for first part of the outdoor season with new limbs , a bit more poundage and moving the sight on the arm ( i tried to shoot at 100yards at the end of last season but the sight was at its lowest point etc i i was shooting the legs !)

we normally do rounds on a Saturday morning at our field but it would be better i feel to meet up and shoot rounds through the summer at either field as we are doing through the winter , may be worth a Foresters V Swifts challenge match ?
