I did OK but I still have a way to go before I am up to the standard of some of the guys shooting there. I shall say hallo next time I see you.

I'll be there too on the Saturday, where i'll be looking for 1065+ (BM) this time. At kirby i had an ok 90, a good 70, a rubbish 50 and then an ok 30, finishing with 1032. For the first shoot of the season though i'm pleased, but i have some work to do on my form

Any sign of a results sheet yet???

It was a pleasure shooting with everyone, most of who i will see this Sunday at the Ken Inkley, hope we have the same sort of weather for it.

Hiya Sophie,
Did Maxine, your shooting partner behave herself?
Best wishes,
Steve

I personally had a stinker of a day, but was pleased for a lot my fellow archers though. My other half Maxine shot a PB of 1147 and felt there was more to come, and other Grantham club mates did well - Chris Daws got his 1000 FITA Star on his first FITA, Tony Hoyes got his GMB score and Michelle Dalhaug got a Bowman score.

On target 14, I don't know if they're on this forum, but well done to Rod Stamp who shot a 1280 (I think) on his first FITA and to Craig Wickham who I believe won the 30m distance award.
Despite my below par performance, I was (we were) entertained by Alan Hagland all afternoon and the buzzard that soared over the M1 early in the shoot and the spitfire that flew over kept me happy.

Best wishes,
Steve
