New bow - Guardian

Yesterday got my new bow, Bowtech Guardian. I had to get one, because I had heard only good things of it. I shot 126 arrows yesterday and I am very happy of this bow. Today I will shoot some more and then I have to decide which bow I am going to use this summer. It looks like that I will continue shooting Guardian (Mathews C4 has to wait its turn).

First, it was easy to tune. You donīt need bowpress, if you need to do something to string or cables. It shoots really good, I am getting better groups from 70m than my other bows. I canīt say how it feels in release, because I donīt feel anything. Every other bow I owned, do "things" in release. I canīt explain those "things", I just feel them and in Guardian I donīt feel any "things".

I have had my bowtech commander for just over a week, shot a fita in the wind on sunday 1272, because there is no vibration i was messing about with style. On monday i went to the Kirby Muxloe fita double 720,decided to just shoot and not think, scored 659 in the rain for the first round and 653 in the wind for the second. I had a lot of people coming up to me saying how quiet the bow was.The only noise is a ting from a trophy taker arrow rest

My main bows with Bowtech have all been black marble finish and it's the best finish that I have seen on a bow. I've never seen any marks in the finish and I'm hardly gentle with my gear.

My chrome allegiance has also held up very well, with no marks on the finish.

The Guardian has been awesome. It's been shooting a lot better than I have. And the only sound when the shot goes off is the 'tink' from the spring steel rest.

The weight balance is much better than my previous bows and the grip is the perfect size.
