If you look down the HNL homepage you can see some user comments which confirm the durability of both the string and serving.

I'm not experienced enough to be able to tell you any major differences with strings, but this is what I have found...

I was using 20 Strand Angel ASB Dyneema and have just recently changed to Angel Majesty. I noticed an immediate drop in my sight mark. I had to move my sight about 1cm to get my arrows to hit yellow again.

Having weighed both strings I noticed that the Majesty was slightly heavier (7.2 grams and the ASB was 7.1 grams) - to me that's nothing and I put that down to the fact that I had done my end loops a little bigger than the other string. So I reckon they weigh about the same.

I'm still messing with my bracing height at the moment because it states on the package for Majesty that your barce height should be between 5mm and 20mm lower than any other string - Not sure if that is also comparing to ASB!! It has allowed my to reduce my brace height by about 6mm with no problem and sounding sweet (IMO), but not as sweet as it did on using ASB.

The Majesty stuff is so much easier to work with when compared to ASB. I was always catching the stuff with a slight graze on my hand or something - very delicate stuff! I like the fact that once you finished shooting in a few shots and setting your brace height, you then burnish the string and the special stuff they put on the string to make it resistant to rain etc., makes the string into a wire, perfectly formed.

So far I really like the stuff, but still have some more testing/messing to do. Maybe if I'd come from a totally different brand of string to Majesty I may have been able to comment/review the material better. I'll update after a couple of months

How long did it take to get your strings from HNL when you ordered them ?

Its interesting to hear your comments on brace height Does the brace height you currently have fall within the recommended range for the riser ?

My Xpert NX should be between 21.5 - 23.5cm but my bow sounds smoothest at 20.8cm.

Phil,

Sorry, I made the strings myself

Well its funny you should mention the brace height as I've just now (today) finally got what I consider to be a perfect brace height. It sounds so sweet, shoots so well and groups so tightly ! It is now set at 21.6mm (8 1/2"). All my other strings were up in the high end, above 9" (23mm appx). The Angel Dyneema I was using was up at 9 1/4", so I was shocked to find teh Majesty stuff taking my brace height down so far.

My Exfeel is suppose to be between 21.5 and 23.5mm, so yes it does, just about, fall in the range suggested by Win & Win.

I have just ordered an NX, so it is interesting to hear that the brace height is low of recommendation - thanks for the info.

Whats also interesting is I have chnaged my limbs from Everest Pro to G3 and its the G3 that are sounding sweet low. The EP's had a brace height which was up around the 21.8cm mark. When I first got the G3's and just put the string on without any changes to twists etc it feel down to 20cm. I guess this is to do with the different profiles causing the different tip to tip lengths. I should add that the current string is FF Pro 18 strand.

Bye the way the NX is a great riser I love mine, the blue is truely gorgeous. I hear the silver is quite nice also.

MM

Thanks for the info.

I have to agree with tel, the new strings are very nice and superbly made.

Leighton at HNL does a great job.
