| I know a lot of people have had similar problems with the Protours. A lot of rear-impacts are destroying the nock end, but a lot are breaking off in targets. Perhaps they are made too thin towards the front, which makes them lighter but also more fragile. But the cases I've heard of were never in foam bosses, always in straw. |

| It could be a bad batch, are they still under warranty? | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Heard loads of similar stories Steve. In fact I can't think of anyone I know who has shot them without several breakages. If you are at the club tonight I have a cracking (no pun intended) photo of a breakage from the Grand Northern courtesy of Fugue.

| Yep, seems to a common problem. I've heard of too many breakages and I think a couple of these were from foam bosses. |

| On Sunday at the Worcester County Champs the compounder on my target broke 5 or 6 in the first 8 dozen of a York. Also breaking in the same area, also with Tungsten points. Cost is not an issue for him, since he is sponsored, though there was a chance he may have to retire if he ran out of spares. In the end he made it through and won, but it was a close call. Most of the damage seemed to come with contact against one of the legs. Eventually the stand was changed to one with the centre leg spaced further back, and the breakages stopped. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Allvyn, not sure about warranty. Do arrows ever come with a warranty? I bought this set at the start of the outdoor season, so they are less than six month old. PaulT, see you this evening. I'm certainly no sponsered and will think twice next season about buying these arrows again.

| There is a deffiant problem with the Pro Tours, they seem to be breaking all over the place on impact with targets, does not matter what type but more so on very windy days from what i have herd. I have also been told Easton know there is a problem and are working on it. I am so glad i stuck with good old X10's this year, As i know they super strong and work just as good as pro tours. Jon

| I work part time in quicks, and today when i was in, we were all shown an email from Easton. It said something along the lines of X10 ProTour's are getting damaged from being shot into "hard bosses" because of the way they are constructed (or something like that), and that they recommend only shooting them into "soft bosses", such as Danage/foam bosses. |
