new X10's, best knock for protection??

I have recently started using my x10's now my poundage has reached a suitable weight for them to tune and I've been using them everywhere with results I'm impressed with.

Thing is, I'm using Beiter in-out knocks seems i use a Beiter knocking point. But a few people have strongly recommended me to use pin-knocks to help save the arrows when they get hit. Then again, 2 people I've shot with have complained about pin-knocks cracking and even smashing as they fire them. Has anyone else had this problem?

Would you recommend i should use pin-knocks or Beiter?

I would reccomend staying with what you got. I have heard that both work great. The inouts have loads of material but the pins have the harder pin which deflects the incoming arrow. You will get loads of people telling you what to use. Just stay where you are untill you get a problem then try something else. Yes both types will eventually break the shaft but that will be a freak occurance.
