| you can try different weight piles easily which helps the fine tuneing of the arrows. Lighter piles makes them stiffer and heavier makes them weaker.

| Dab of locktite (cant remember which number) or wax stops them unscrewing so easily.

| I always use to use hot melt. Would not come undone and just required a small amount of heat. nail varnish is meant to work as well. Anything that goes hard will work. I guess PTFE tape would work as well but would not be as semi/permanent.

| many thanks guys, very resourceful as ever....is there a desirable grain weight for 2213 xx75 at 31inch? Probably what ever suits you best but just checking... | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| I used to use hot melt glue on my screw in points. Having found the correct weight I now use glue in solid points. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| To stop them unscrewing a blob of fletching glue on the screwthread just before you screw it in works well. The points will not unscrew with normal use, but can be taken out easily if required - just hold the point with a pair of pliers and twist to break the glue.
