| Limbs usually come with 1 years guarantee. As for how long should they last..... there is no straight answer to that!! IMHO there are a few factors to take into consideration..... a flaw in the limbs when manufactured, the poundage / stress on the limbs, the way the limbs are stored, frequency used.... I've run out of options ![]()

| The 2005 Owner's Manual says that they have a 1 year warranty, so unfortunately you won't be able to get a new pair under that. As for the life of the product, my G3's (bought about 4 months after yours) are still intact and hopefully will be for a while to come. |

However, back to the case in point. I would suggest that two and a half years for sports equipment is a reasonable time, so I suspect that you will struggle, but its probably worth a talk with your retailer, as it is the customer service that he gives that will help his business (especialy in these times of the internet). Beign bolshy won't help, but if you talk to him nicely he might offer you a discount against a new set of limbs 'as a good will gesture' but after two and a half years I don;t think you can expect much more. If you are not happy then your only recorse is to the law, but that's goingto cost yo an arm and a leg, (though you could try the small claims court proceedure) and you would have to demonstrate that 30 months was uan unreasonably short period of time for the limbs to last. HtH, though I suspect that it doesn't.

| You would not expect it from top level limb, but I have heard of a couple of Hoyt G3 delaminating. What brand are yours? Where did you buy them? Sometimes the shop you bought from have a good arrangement with the supplier and limbs that are defective could warrant some of discount, especially if you are going to get another set... I had a set of Hoyt M1s warp on me, and quicks are doing what they can to get me something back, I spend a lot of money on my kit. I also shoot between 8 - 12 dozen arrows a day... more on the weekends | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| OK, I've just got back from my 250 mile round trip to Quicks at Portsmouth, and I am a happy bunny :-) They more less told me what most of you surmised about the 12 months warranty, but in view of the fact that I bought my complete bow set up from them ( I took along the receipts they offered me a brand new set of G3s at half price as a gesture of good faith.I was very pleased at that, especially as the G3s now cost £40 less than when I first bought them. The staff there were as usual very helpfull, and I set up and shot the bow before leaving. My wife, a non-archer, was impressed with that level of service, and commented on how unusual it is these days, so well done Quicks! Kev |

| Good customer service and the extra pubicity that this brings to Quicks is a bonus to you, Excelent. Ok, so Quicks aren;t the cheapest supplier out there, but you can't do first rste customer service and be the cheapest on the blok.
