| General rule of thumb - new string material + old limbs = bad idea. Q.V, Fast flight on a wooden bow.

| Just to back that up, I used 450 Plus on my old KG1 (not quite that old, I think) and it was fine. Border also supply all their traditional recurves and flatbows with flemish twist Fastflight strings, as I recall. |

| I have hoyt FX limbs , shot twics and a marksman Ikon riser , couple of years old . Bad idea using fast flite ? If so , what would be recommended as I was told not to use dacron ? Cheers |
