| TradTech Pinnacle Does anyone know of these risers, or TradTech (the company that produces them... though it seems they contract the actual manufacturing out to Samick)? TradTech Archery - TradTech Pinnacle Riser A 19" riser that can make a 64- 62- or 60" traditional (shelf rest) bow with any set of ILF limbs! It seems to be the perfect solution for someone with a modern recurve setup who wants to try some traditional archery without investing in raftloads of new equipment (like me). But I'd want to be sure of what I was doing before stringing up my Samick masters limbs in them! Looks like it's really new (was still under development over the summer), but has anyone seen one on this side of the pond yet?

| Checkout the Tradtech Extreme BF limbs, "2 Types of Carbon with Bakelite and Foam Dual Core". Bakelite .... that's certainly "Back to the Future"! |

| TradTech is an affiliate company of Lancaster Archery. |

| Really like the look of this - especially as I've been toying with shooting NFAS barebow this winter. Does anyone know what weight 40lb medium limbs (68" bow on a 'standard' 25" riser) will pull on this 19" riser? |

Medium 68" limbs are what they recommend for a standard, 62" inch field bow on the Pinnacle. Got this information from Lee C. Vivian at TradTech, very prompt reply and as helpful as could be imagined. Just ordered a Pinnacle, can't wait to try it!

| Cheers, Reg. I'll let you know about costs once it arrives; they're sold out and expecting a new shipment from Samick in a week or two. They recommended FedEx economy for shipping overseas (i.e. to Europe), so I'm counting on paying for that PLUS the duties/VAT at this end. Hoping for the best... It would be great if a dealer on this side of the pond were interested in stocking it, but since it's a really new product - and since they're selling out as soon as they get them in over there - my guess is that won't happen soon; so if you want one now it's probably best to order straight from them. Here are a couple of links to reviews on Archery Talk (an American forum), if it's helpful: http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=532402 http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=556758 http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=556622 Like I said... can't wait! ![]()

| Did you get it? Hi Russ, Did you receive the Pinnacle? Interested to know what you think of it. |

| Hi Reg, It has arrived - but at my family's address in the US, so I don't have it with me in Copenhagen yet. I was trying to save shipping (a lot!) by having it sent to a local address by domestic mail, then picking it up in person while I was over visiting before Christmas; but my trip got cancelled due to illness, so it's still over there in a box - and it will probably have to stay there until I visit again in the summer. ![]() I should point out that Lancaster/TradTech sent it within days of my placing the order, and it arrived within a day or two of being sent. Great service. The fact that I haven't picked it up yet is entirely my own fault. There may be more up-to-date reviews on Archery Talk (you could try checking up on the links I posted earlier, to see if anyone has added anything new since then). And I'll certainly post something myself here when I've had a chance to use it.
