How are Eli Stabilisers compared to, say... HMCs?

Someone in the club thinking of getting them, but none of us clubmates know much about it,

I'm not sure anyone imports them into the UK (willing to be proved wrong of course) so it's unlikely there will be much experience over here. However, someone who can presumably have any kit she wants uses Eli dampeners and a top rod, but the stabilisers are Apogees, which are very good.
