I'm not sure about the total weight, but I did weigh my rods to see how they compared and get an initial setup. The 32" rod I have weighs about the same (without end weights) as the 33" (ish) Apollo multi rod I have been using. Also the 12" Posten rods weigh about the same as a 12" Apollo multi rod.

Jim has answered the weight question in his Archery Talk thread, below is a quote:-

Stainless V-block front mount adapters are 1.3 oz

stackers are .9 oz

caps are 1.2 oz
Hopefully this can answer your queries.

Alex.

So 30" rod weight equals ((30-1.5)x0.25)+2 = ((28.5x0.25)+2 = 9oz yes?

Sounds good to me. I like a bit of front weight so sounds like it will work. Think ill put an order in.

So how does the wind effect the rods? More or less effect compared to normal rods or about the same?

The weight looks about right, but then you can add further weight on the end with the weight set.

I've only shot my rod a couple of times and neither in any real wind, so I can't really say yet...

Fair enough. I take it the screw thread he descirbes is standard to most stabs?

The screw thread on the rod into the bow is the standard 5/16" and the thread on the weight ond of the rods is 1/4" - 20, which I believe is the standard end weight thread!

For the end weights, the weight has the threaded bar and screws into the rod itself. Hence the stacker weights in the weight set and the ability to use the Stacker Jax.

Getting very tempted to get a set for the Allegiance. The guy does some awesome powder coating and I don't like the camo that's on it at the minute. If only I had the readies...

Alex

ow long did it take your order to arrive from when you paid? Mine may be a little extra work per rod (im lucky enough to be getting carbon inserts) but im only getting 2 rods for now.
