XXXL Chest guard

Does anyone know where I can get a chest guard that will fit a 54 inch chest – Left hand?

I bought the Merlin chest guard with the unique adjustment system – although an excellent piece of kit, it will not sit properly on my shoulder and does not cover my barrel chested shape.

Hi Clickerati.

By the way – I love the Purple Pirate thing. Will you be dressed in the outfit at the American shoot at P&S week Saturday?

I contacted Old bloke via his company e-mail on 28th August, got the automated response and then nothing.
I just assumed he couldn’t do it.

Which was a shame as they look extra excellent. I've been shooting without one as its less frustrating than constantly pulling the other one up, back onto my shoulder.

That’s the problem when you are an awkward shape.

Copy of the response below.

I was wondering if you could supply a GENTS CHESTGUARD_HYBRID_LEFT HAND to fit me. I have a 52 inch very deep barrel chest. My existing chest guard is like the Merlin Bows chest guard, that is supposed to fit all sizes. I find it slips off my shoulder and there is not enough mesh to actually cover my chest. If this is possible please let me know.

You can also PM me on archery-interchange under the user name of Ski.

Many thanks

Norman

I use to have a similar chest size and have used an Opechee (available from BowPlus) chest guard for years. They work really well.
Depending on the shape of your chest, a fitted one could fit better.

Kae.

Chestguard

Dear Ski,

I have checked my inbox and no e-mail shows from yourself. The spam box is also clear. Could you try again the automated e-mail from the online shop and P.M. me to state that a message has been sent. Your e-mail has not arrived. I try to answer all e-mails within 24hrs.

If you P.M. me of your requirements, I'll see what I can do as a cut away from patterns is quite simple to do and I've made quite a few chestguards of different sizes for both men and women.

Sorry about the silence, but never received your e-mail.

David

Ah ha!

That one came through all O.K.

I had been doing some work on the site about that time as it happens! Guess the check boxes at my end hadn't all been ticked.

I'll have a look at the job tomorrow, as I'm in the *office* all day today trying to start the *Paper Catalogue*. It is not going well...damn publisher. Guide lines move on their own accord.
