You put it through the face and elastic into the backing plate (there is a hole at the bottom).

Keeps it all in place, and stops the elastic pulling through.

Kae.

You might want to heat the plastic finger overlay bit (chin plate), and bend it upwards. Be prepared to have an incredibly painful top finger after about three dozen if you don't as the sharp corner digs into your flesh. You might also want to look for a longer finger spacer as the one they supply is a bit of a waste of space as it doesn't stop finger pinching because it is far to short and as a result the inside of the finger that is getting trashed by the non bent chin plate bit gets roughed up by the arrow so yopur top finger is being attacked from both sides. Apart from that, they are not a bad tab.

My A&F tab is nice and comfy... now I've replaced the facing with oberon , heated and re-shaped the platform and got rid of all the nasty sharpness from the poorly finished edges.

so its more like an A&F&Arrowhead&sanded-to-be-comfy-by-me tab

I found the best way of making a hole in the elastic to put the screw through is a hot knitting needle.

Its a great tab and i have a backup made to be as same as i can ... just in case.

I've had no problems with my A & F finger tabs. Quite the opposite. I've just bought another one as a spare. I think they are great.
I thinking of giving OB's material a try soon just to see if my scores improve.
