Thumbs up Old Bloke what a hero

I have to give credit where credit is due.

On Wednesday 19th September I put out a plea for a XXXL size 54 chest guard.

I spent many months struggling to find a chest guard that would fit me.

After a few PM, and two days later an incredibly well made and well fitted chest guard arrived.

Thanks Old Bloke.

I am a very unusual shaped 54 inch, very deep barrel chested, and no other chest guard would fit. I tried over 10 different makes and even the ones that are fully adjustable and one size fit all did not sit at all well. Finding anything to fit has always been a problem.

*climbs out the search, digging up this thread again*

Hey,

I'm typing this whilst nursing a pretty horrible bruise on my right side (yes, i'm one of those Odd left handers!) and am thinking its about time i get a chest guard!

It only happens on distances below ~30m - the string just doesn't want to leave without kicking me before it goes(much like a few girlfriends)

Like the OP, I'm not the slimmest of shapes, and have found some of the chestguards I have tried don't feel right during the shot etc.

So, i'm looking to purchase one from a reputable supplier.

Any help + suggestions would be greatly received.

I can definately recommend Old Blokes chest guards(ARROWHEAD U.K. ON-LINE SHOP)....I have had 2 so far - only changed due to colour, my original red one didn't go with our new blue/black tops.

Since I got my new blue one, 2 other folk in the club have also pruchased (cause they go with the club colours).

they are VERY well made and comfy to use - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

ok, sounds like a reputable place!

I'll look into sending an email to them regarding a larger size, as i notice the largest listed is 48".

Whereabouts do I measure to find what size I need?

thanks for replies
