New arrow wraps

Just ordered my new arrow wraps from onestringer, cant wait to get them onto my arrows...

Even better, designed them myself and they only cost $9 a dozen + $2 shipping from the USA

I have just received mine. Really impressed with them and Mindi at Onestringer. I'll try to get a pic up later.

Can I ask a slightly naive question please - do the wraps actually go under the fletchings - and if so, are you able to re-fletch without destroying the wrap - or do you have to use a new wrap and re-fletch all three ?? I was particularly thinking of whether it is possible to remove old glue easily without destroying the wrap.

TIA,

Grep.

I haven't tried re-fletching since adding the wraps. But the fletches go on top of the wraps.

IIRC I am sure I have heard people on this forum say that re-fletching on top of wraps is fine as long as you are careful.

I must admit that why I like spin wings, no glue involved 8-)

Spins are fine. Just wipe the wrap to remove any additional grease. Once clean (DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING LIQUID) just fletch as normal. if you want to use glue just speak to the manufacturer to find out what glue works best. Some dont stick and some will disolve the wrap.
