Shibuya duel click sight pin

I have just purchased a duel click sight and I tried to change the sight pin for the Bieter one that I use. Well this is were my nightmare began at one point I could not get the thing back together again and was starting to think that I had just thrown my money down the drain. I eventually managed to get it all back together again and it is working fine. Does anybody know if it is possible to fit a Bieter sight pin to this sight? The threads seem the same the only difference seems to be that the Shibuya pin is pointed at the end.

Yes, you need to file a bit of a point (not a sharp one) on the Beiter thread to get it to go into the Dual Click's block. I had to do the same with my Titan Recurve scope's thread. It's still pretty fiddly once you've done that.

Just lay the sight face down to let the shutter that shrouds the thread hole line up and it will screw in no probelm:

No need to file anything, the Shibuya fibre optic sight pin isn't pointed.

Think I screwed the original pin in from the other end then screwed the Beiter in the correct way and took them through together to keep it all open.

I did the same.

I have also modified my sight so that I can either use the micro windage adjustment or just twist the sight ring. Simple mod just screwed a rubber washer up to the block (sight pin side) and secured it with a nut it's tight enough not to move on it's own. This mod also does away with the windage locking screw.
