| I agree about the loesch grips - pretty, and feel real nice. If you want to get a slim grip, then take a file to it! I saw someone who had it so thin, you could see the metal through one corner of it(!) You can always build it back up with car body filler. Easy to do, and good fun to boot! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Merlin will do a custom wooden grip for about £18-20 , fitted and customised in the shop - be prepared to spend some time. I have a VERY high grip similar to 1970's Border bows and it is fantastic! I have a new SF riser - same fit so that is the next project! Dave

Hi LMP only problem is that there are different grip to riser fittings As far as I know WW and SF and Yamaha rae the same - as are some PSE handles XFactor? Different from Hoyt!, Merlin decided to use WW fit as it gave a low cost supply of good basic grips - apparently Hoyt were expensive! so Merlin now area good aftermarket supply for Loesh-a-likes for WW etc Dave

| The PSE Intrepid riser will take Yamaha Eolla-style grips, but the X-Factor won't. |

Last night we tried a plastic GM grip against Robbie's Exfeel. It was loose enough to rattle from side to side (would need shimming). That wouldn't be a problem but the angle was slightly wrong as well, so the holes through the grip wouldn't quite line up. On my Winact with the same grip, the allignment with the holes is better, but the grip groove is too narrow to fit correctly (the opposite issue from that on the Exfeel). |
