My New Posten Stabs

Nice new range by nhs does it come with crook handle or crutch fittings. Only kidding. will be keeping an eye on how you do cause a friend of mine was talking about getting some. good luck

Test Results

Well I didnt get a full test done but I did manage to compare my Posten with my Ace.

Balance - The Posten is heavier then the ACE but then ACE rods are super lite. The thing I like about the extra weight is you can remove some weight's from the rods.

Shock Absorbtion - With doinker fitted to the end it was about the same as an ACE rod , However on a recurve I wouldnt recomend one with out a doinker. The limb wobble was hillarious. Still with a Doinker I could not say it was any better or any worse then my ACE

Look - I love it. I got about 20 "Looks like a machine gun!". To be honest it does so it didnt bother me.

Conclusion - I love it. I Like the balance the extra weight along the rod gives me and it performs the same as my ACE rod, which is probably the best compliment that could be made to any stabaliser.

Looks good on the bow, what effect do you think the carbon insert has had?

The carbon seems to remove all the high frequency vibration although I dont have one without to compare. i prefer the look with the carbon and with the doinker I get no vibration what so ever. I could not be happier with the performance.
The jig lives where ever I can find space for it. Only problem with it is it has just a tun handle to adjust length whihc takes for ever as it has a fine thread.

I would have attached a drill but dont have one round the flat.

The carbon differs to the length. Cant remember the actual cost but check out Untitled Document and it will list the extra costs there.

I think so. Its quite funny the stab man character. Some one on AT had his kid dress up as Stabman for halloween and after winning a Supman Doll at our club bowling champs (strange prize for first place i know) I converted it to a Stabman action figure.
