Beiter longrods are "factory set" and dont really need a lot of tuning. However, we tuned my wifes beiter rod by moving the one nearest to the top forwards and backwards in 1 inch increments and it worked! You need 5 or 6 paper plates marked 1-6 Shoot agroup of 6 arrows at plate 1at 40 yds.,move tuner1"forward and put plate 2 on the boss and repeat, do the same with plate 3. Then put plate 4 up and put tuner 1" below original mark and repeat until you have used all 6 plates. You should see a pattern in your groups, put the tuner to which ever mark has the tighter group. Easy!!

If you are sure you need to tune your longrod, follow Bald Eagle's advice. but remember with beiter longrods, the tuner blocks are a bit of a pain to move. all you need to do is remove/loosen the two covers (with allen bolts) on the tuner, then slide to wherever you need it. simple in theory.

HTH

Chris
