| Hmm.. i'm thinking of 70" and 38lbs or 40lbs.. my drawlength is 29 inches long.. i'm really afraid of breakages.. coz it seems to be a common thing for woodcore limbs to break (especially for those lowgrade ones/brands).. Well.. from the brand name of hoyt, i expect great quality and durability.

| I shot 36# short CRXs for most of this year, and made Bowman with them, a very good mid-range limb. imho.

| My one and only foray into Hoyt was to buy a set of crx nice looking and got covers for them.Put them onto my bow the limbs didnt even match could not set the tillering what so ever . Sent them back to the shop and got them to check them and they were way out (serial numbers matched )So i decided if they couldnt get a simple thing like matching limbs i would buy somthing else admitedly this was a few years back .

| Yeah.. i've only heard breakages from the top end foams too.. hmm.. might consider it.. thx for the advice Jay.G... as for madmac.. even if hoyt made a mistake in pairing limbs.. i believe it's like a one in a million kind of thing and mismatched limbs isn't that of a common problem by hoyt thus i still have faith and trust in Hoyt. Their products are just too enticing.. ![]()

| Frankly from the durability point of view and all else disregarded the wooden core plus carbon limbs are probably the strongest, I only know this qualitatively as my G3s seems more prone to be damaged than my CRXs. Probably because the material in the wooden core limbs ain't pushed to their limits as much. Hope you find the limb that suits you! |
