Fashion tips

Okay, we all know that different risers have different shape (duh!) which means that different sight/stabiliser would affect how it looks and people's perception of it..

For example, I think a Nexus looks out of place with an X10 stabiliser. The riser is soooo 'skinny' whereas the stabiliser is fat. And colours! Seen a Pink riser with black limbs and different coloured stabilisers before?

I don't know..

I'm thinking of my Cobalt Blue Nexus, what would look best with it.
IMO, I like an A/C/E, AGF stabiliser and the Angel sight on it.. Sleek, sexy. Anything better! Pictures will be good

I have boring old Cartel carbon stabs that do that job for me, but I do think Merlin Triads are rather sexy

Maybe it's because those weights move up and down the longrod in a lovely smoooooooth action

It's sexier than OK's Better One

Or Beiter

Actually, I like the looks of the Doinker Quadra-Flex Series. The rods look like it is closed spaced.. Must fit a Nexus

I like the look of my bow. The blue/black string and fusion riser work quite nicely with my HMCs. I think some blue 900CX's would be ideal, but somehow I don't see myself upgrading again anytime soon (especially since I'll spend enough on compound soon).

ah well stylistically wise... I don't think multi rods that are big will look right with a Nexus, it is a slim, sexy riser that's very agile looking so sticking a fat long rod and sides on it would just be a bit dampening on its niceties.

I would suggest with Blue Nexus, Black HMC Rods, the A/C/E Easton VRS Stabilizers or Doinker Carbon Rods, all would look nice though I think the Easton and HMC would give it a bit more contrast and they are great too. With both you can also attach the new Win&Win Dampening thingys which have blue foam so there's a bit of a blue detail. The doinker on the Doinker rods wouldn't look too good with your nexus, conflicts against the slimness nature. But its your taste I guess.

For the Sight I'd suggest the Shibuya Ultima RC in the blue colour, it has the black carbon rod which creates somewhat of a contrast against the riser and also matches the Easton Stabilizers. Or Alternatively a Silver one to brighten up the riser so the silver Angel should be okay.

For the Plunger and Arrow rest, both silver would be rather nice against the blue and black, adds to the brightening effect of a silver sight thus complimenting the riser scheme and contrasting against the Black Stabs.

Limb wise... it should be something to just compliment the riser scheme and merge into the whole blue scheme so if you want it to look bright and glorious get a silver pair, if you want it to look dark and agile use a black pair. Maybe you can also compliment your personality with it too I guess? The Blue 900CX would be lovely I think.

The clicker tip is another customisable option... I'm not sure if beiter makes in Florescent Blue or not though. You can just choose that one little detail to be out of place I guess to defeat the expected... Use a florescent Green tip would be good.

with this scheme, all the top rods/back weight/other extra bits can really be anything, it can either be blue to compliment the riser, black to make more contrast, other colours to defeat what's to be expected.

Hope it works out for you
