| Merlin Vision. Any good? I'm in the process of looking to buy a new Compound Bow. I have a limited budget of about £300. So It's either a used Hoyt of some kind or a new Merlin Vison. I am left handed so my choice is limited on the second hand market. Left hand bows are like hens teeth. This kind of forces my hand to look to the new market. On paper the Merlin looks like it may be OK. Has anyone had any experience of this bow, or any Merlin. Cheers Rich PS. Just rang Bowsports, the word "left hand" met with the usual sucking of air between the teeth. They don't have one in stock anyway....I may have to take up golf. | The left handed Hoyt compounds are "on the way" apparently they have to fulfil the right hand market first but they are definately on the way. Check out the new Bow Tech Allegiance, you won't buy a Hoyt!! |

| both me and my eldest lad shoot merlin compounds and i cant fault them both in terms of bow and after sales service it helps because i dont live too far away from them but when i go there they are genuinely helpful and nothing seems too much trouble i know they are pushed at the moment but they do have some second hand bows in and both mine and my lads bows were made up as we wanted them. i dont know much about archery as i am a relatively new but they have helped me and i dont like to think i am a fool |

Cheers for that. Rich |

| When I tried the solo cam it was wonderful! The twin cam was a bit "spongy", like the Hoyts, and you can alter the let off on the solo cam! Custom Built will match any price you are quoted! We have a junior shooting a solo cam and he is doing very well! |
