Easton ProTour

The 2008 Target Catalogue is now available for download from the Easton website here:

http://www.eastonarchery.com/pdf/easton_target_08.pdf

and the Shaft Selector software and Tuning Guide seem to be back on the Software page here:

Easton Archery | Software , but they aren't clickable which is a shame.

Interesting disclaimer in tiny tiny lettering on the ProTour page of the catalogue "The ProTour is designed for optimum performance in soft targets which allow at least 15cm of penetration. Shooting into harder targets that allow less penetration may damage ProTour and will reduce its useful life. If only hard targets are available, Easton recommends the regular X10 for both compound and recurve applications."

So now you know.

There was a small incident (already forgotten and no it wasn't mine lol) with a wooden fence yesterday... the guilty ProTour is just fine. Tungsten points really are worth every penny.

See, I had set my mind on getting regular X10s as I usually shoot straw... don't tempt me to go for the protours!!!

Same. I was looking at a regular set of X10s as I almost always shoot into straw, but the breakages seem quite hit and miss with ProTours at the moment.
