am thinking of buying a compound
which one is the most popular?

Get some thing that you can draw smoothly so the arrow does not bounce off the arrow rest. I assume you want to shoot with a release aid so get help to find a reference point with the release of your choice and then get an axle to axle lenght that fits your face, so the peep is not too far away from your eye. See what your local archery shop stocks and go and try a few.
The best bow for other people might not ne the best bow for you.

I think you need to get yourself to a reputable shop and get some expert advice. Compound bows are like cars, everyone is different and you need to buy one you feel comfortable with.

While I like my 38 Ultra my wife shoots Ultra Elite's although is testing another bow at the moment. So even after you have bought one and shot it, again just like cars, there is always a new model on its way

Try before you buy.

Draw length is king.

Don't "Over bow". Although most are reasonably adjustable.

But will the most popular be the one that suits you best! Go to a good dealer and try some for size, don't buy what other people go for, buy what you feel most comfortable with.

Try lots, I love my UltraElite (old Cam 1/2), but my wife shoots a seven37 which is also very nice (new Cam1/2 +), we've both tried several bowtechs and matthews plus others, its very personal and depends how much you want to spend!

I agree with all that has been said already. Which is best ? how long is a piece of string !!!... Get to a dealer & try out all that he has, you must be comfortable with the bow, plus you have to like it.....

Just cut the arrows long enough to flick em back on, that's what I do.

Has Merlin figured out what the click noise is yet?



Go with the one that looks the best to you. They'll all shoot where you aim them......... unless it's a Bowtech, then it'll just shoot 10's.
