28" - CEX2 Long Rod= Cex2 Long rod is about 200g
10" - CEX2 Side Rod= Cex2 Side rod is about 100g
5" - CEX2 Extender= Cex2 Ext is about 75g
Men's V-bar= V-bar will be 100g

Those are figures that SOMA gave me when I enquired, so guess it does give you a rough idea of the weights as -+1" wouldn't make that much difference.

200g? Including the weights or rod only? W&W HMC 30" rod weighs around 140g (I measured it myself)

Don't know, but I was shoooting HMCs for comparison, no weights on so just rod by rod, the SOMA felt much lighter...

Just measured my 30" HMC, 135g. This is one of the earlier ones that had Ally ends, I believe the later ones have steel ends, which would make them a bit heavier.

That's interesting. I have a 30" HMC Rod and now a 29" Soma CEX2 rod. When the CEX2 rod arrived in the post the first thing i did was weigh it directly against the HMC rod. I found that they are almost exactly the same wieght, with the CEX2 rod being only very marginally lighter (but then it is an inch shorter)..

I think 140grams for the HMC rod may be for the older version that has aluminium ferrules (sp?), (the current version has stainless steel ferrules and is definitely heavier)
