Super nocks

"Now I'm looking forward to asking lots of daft questions and getting sensible answers."

That was part of my first post on AIUK. Now a truly daft question.
I bought some second-hand XX75s fitted with Super 3d nocks, and now I've bough some "ordinary" super nocks, but they don't fit as easily as the originals. It takes a hell of a shove to get them in and I've got to twist as well as push, and grip the nock with pliers. Should it be that hard? This is my first foray into the world of nocks that go inside rather than outside the shaft.

The nocks in my X7s require a lot of effort to get in and out, which is annoying when i smash a nock. Im thinking about trying Beiters, maybe they will be a slighty easier fit
