Trouble With SF Carbon Foam Limbs

Hi,
Just been to the club and found my bottom limb had stared to splinter and crack.
Has anyone else experienced this with SF limbs?
Would limb savers prevent this?
They are about 2 years old and have been well looked after.
I'm also trying to decide on replacement on a budget of around £200 as this is all i can aford, any ideas.

Regards to all

TT

I don't think so. I have never heard of a single pair of limbs "saved" by Limb Savers. All they do is reduce vibration after the shot and a well tuned stabilizer will do the same thing.

I've heard a few people say all that vibration is hard on the limbs. Harder than coming to full draw then shooting an arrow? I hardly think so.

Mine are two years old - no problems so far (touch wood).

Sometimes limbs break.... Doesn't necessarily mean they've been mis-treated, or that the limbs (as a whole) are bad. You'd need an expert looking at them to be able to tell. I guess there could be mileage in returning them to the mfr, but I wouldn't count on any joy.

Around the £200 mark? Winacts? Those should be just under £200.

I have. My lower limb cracked across the outside face about 4" down from the 'butt'. Mine are 2 years old.

Bad luck. I'd second the Winacts, great limb, but if I could get the right size Winex for just over £200 I wouldn't eat for a few days Merlin were selling them at this kind of price.

Good luck

Stretch

They're £220 from bowsports at the moment, and a marked improvement over winacts....
