Quick button question

Just started back with the sport after 25years! Used to shoot Field at Carluke then but now trying target.
Just got my City Pack for my Nexus and am not sure if I should leave the button on the riser or take it off? Any advice from other users of this back pack.

I use an Aurora Techno bag - it has the same double-decker interior bag that the Citypack uses. I leave my button on my Merlin Quazar in the bag and it hasn't suffered any ill effects.

Welcome back to archery by the way - and welcome to the forum!

Leave it in.... How often have you seen someone shoot a few arrows (or a few dozen) and wonder why they are missing the target before they realize they haven't put the button in.

They are generally robust, and if you are worried about them damaging/scratching something else, find something to wrap round it in the bag.

i have seen one person shoot with their limbs upside down. (top in bottom & bottom in top) that was amusing when we pointed it out. he just thought he was having a bad day.

I've seen several club member start a tournament with their limbs on upside down. In all cases they have been shooting well, and on for PBs until they realized, then turned them back around and went to pieces .

Oh yes, I've seen that a few times. For me the biggest worry about removing the button is that I wouldn't be sure it's tight enough afterwards.
