Red face How to use an arrow straightener?

After bending several arrows shooting skeet - Yeah I know but it was fun at the time! Hubby bought me an Arten Arrowsett for my birthday. He did the blokey thing and dashed into the archery store on the way back from somewhere else picked the only one off the shelf there, dusted it off and wrapped it.
Now I have a lovely gadgety thingy with knobs and dials and STUFF but NO instructions. I live in Germany so they'd be in German anyway. I phoned Arten (No reply), so I decided to do a search here, trawled and found nothing so now I'm resorting to straight bare faced asking...
Does anyone out there know how to use the Da****d thing?
Absolutely any help or advice appreciated otherwise it may have to go back Could be that I never get spoken to again

has something.

If you do get through to Arten, I'm sure they'll find something for you. They are really very helpful.

Unfortunately Arten will unlikely be able to help you as the company went into liquidation a couple of months ago.

Thanks Danda I saw that thread but it didn't explain how to set the guages knobs and dials and what different bits do.
The tecnique tips are useful though.
Hidden Hippo thank you too. I guess thats why they don't answer! Do you know if anyone took over Arten?

As I understand it the owner of Arten died and there is confusion over who owns it now.

Ahh... Didn't know that. And I need some sight apertures too.

For the dials, I'll assiume they are some sort of measuring device. If there is some way of zeroing the dials, do that with a straight arrow in the jig. Or if it's not zero, take the cinstant measurement as a baseline and work with any deviations from

With the bent arrow in place the tip and nock ends are likeliest to be near zero, and the bent bits will register positive or negative. The pushy thing is then leant on the bent portions until the reading approaches zero for that bit of the arrow. Eventually tip, nock and everything in between will register as zero.

How about Grayling Outdoor - Perfect Arrow Straightener

These things are all pretty similar.

Or get ACCs You can put them into boss stands, walls or tank turrets and they won't have a scratch...
