You need to ask Little Miss Purple as I believe she has tried both

ok, i've done the crazy option. one came up on ebay for quite cheap, the length i wanted, so i've done "buy it now" option.

im sure it will be a refreshing change, and a nice feel from what i've got the impression of from many archers (i know, terrible way to buy =p )

if i dont like it, you will see it on ebay shortly =p

which did you buy?

I prefer the fuse as it has brought my groups in dramatically... this is probably due to how heavy it makes the bow in the hand.

oops sorry;

i got the doinker, 34.5.

was good timing that it came up on ebay, that and my beiter rod yet again failed in competition today (starting to slide through from back half after tightening.)

even though i didnt get to back to back test them both, the feedback from people on post and pm was really helpful, and i thank you all.

hopefully will come tomorrow, so will be hard practicing in the garden inbetween work.

Thats good to know as I've just ordered one to replace the Beiter I'm using at the moment 34.5 inch One of the compounders at our club found the same better results as you did. 100% positive so far. Let you know when mine arrives.

I wanted to replace my beiter, tried both the fuse and doinker and preferred the doinker. Part of this was I much much preferred the offset mount on the doinker.

I also found with the doinker that the longer one was more stable in my hand... on saying that, it was the short doinker I used at North Wales to achieve the reasonable score in very windy conditions!

It could almost be a term of abuse! As in,

'Oh Will, you're such a...such a...doinker!

So come on...own up...which of you have doinked in the past week?
