Arrow choice

Hi
Looking for some info on arrow selection - X7 or ACC I have a 36lbs at 28" and arrow length is 31". Would ACC at 3-39 or X7 at 2311 be ok? I think the weight is about 41-42lbs.

I would not go for either of your choices. When you get up to those spine ratings the arrow diameter is rather large, making the arrow prone to down wind drift. Navigtors would be a better choice.

presuming they are to be used outdoors? for indoors shooting a fat arrow is good

In that case the 2311's are going to be fragile go up in lenght and pile weight and get a thicker side wall. The ACC's are not wide enough.

again presuming they are going to be used to shoot outdoors. what i think we need is a little more info on whether you are looking for outdoors/indoors arrows. surely 41# would get ACCs and Navs to 90m? I can reach 90 with ACEs shooting 32# limbs, surely that extra 9# can help get Navs that far, they arent that much heavier than ACEs

For outdoors, don't think I would have much problem reaching 90m (hitting the target is another question ) According to the Easton chart Nav's at 480 would be correct for my setup?

Easton chart is a bit hit-and-miss at the best of times. It gives a good starting point but you may need to be willing to go against the chart in order to get a better matching arrow

i find the easton shaft selector program is always on the money when it comes to spine ratings,
you just have to dial in the correct information,
for poundage dial in the AMO weight of the bow when arrow is drawn(poundage when arrow is at 28")
then arrow length I.E. 30"
that will give you different results of shaft selection than entering poundage at fingers then arrow length. you usually end up with too stiff an arrow that way
