Spotting scope

Hi all,

just a quick note to advise that Costco have scopes for sale at the moment for £42.
They are made by MEADE, 25-60 zoom with a 60mm objective lens. They're waterproof and come in a hard bodied case , with a jacket type cover, a tripod, anda soft carry case for the tripod as well.

Got one at the weekend, showed it to the club last night, and have been back today to buy 3 more!

Model number 81011, Google it for a photo

This seems like a bargain if they are as good as my meade binos (same as bresser) from lidl, they out perform bins costing 5 times as much, clear loadsa light gathering.

Meade apparently makes a couple of scope ranges. The one from Costco isn't from these ranges, but the review I read reckons it's only a slight step down from the less expensive range. But a waterproof scope with a tripod and a case for £42 sounds like a very good deal, and Meade has a good reputation.
