Which arrow rest?

(sorry if there's been a thread on this already... I did try searching and couldn't find anything...)

Which arrow rest would people recommend for recurve (shooting aces)?
atm I'm shooting a regi rest, but I'm not overly keen on it.

Does anyone have an opinion of the beiter rest? Or better suggestions?

Ta!

Hoyt super rest. Idiot simple, easily modified, dirt cheap and there's *nothing* to go wrong.

I'm a big fan of the beiter rest; I found it easy to install and since the initial setup 9mths ago, I've never had to touch it again. Having said that I know of people who have just not got on with the rest and thrown them out within a few days.

Before the beiter I used to use spig wraparound rests and was for ever adjusting them.

Apart from the one day I tried a Beiter Rest (and then stuck it to the lid of my bow case as an ornament*) I've used a Spig wraparound and only had to adjust it when I've changed arrows.

I think I (eventually) would have got on with the Beiter, I just didn't have time to mess around adjusting my nocks to give better clearance.

Currently looking at a Spig Gua - just because it gives me something extra to fiddle with

If you have to constantly fiddle with the rest I would guess there is something wrong with it. Dave is correct, the only time you should have to adjust the rest is when you change arrows.

But... if you look at Kevin's scores, and then you look at mine - perhaps I do need to fiddle with it a bit more

I didn't say I "had to" constantly fiddle with the rest, just that I found I did, this has more to do with my nature than the function of the rest. I never managed to convince myself that the sprig rest(s) were set up perfectly so I would fiddle. The beiter rest is better (for me) because I have confidence in it and feel no temptation to mess with it.
