Hoyt Vector Carbon/Foam Limbs

Has anyone had any experiences with these and if so were they positive? I just got a pair on ebay and am awaiting delivery(2 weeks). I guess I'm just hoping for something to look forward to. Do include stories of delamination etc if there are(and I hope not).

Oh and did I mention the person I bought it from has zero ratings? I hope it wasn't a scam. Figured it was a pretty good price for carbon foam limbs so I bid, won, paid around 100 quid for them. The guy is still selling more vector limbs online in different lengths and poundages if anyone's interested in checking it out. A US based ebayer.

Thumbs up Vectors: Good Limbs

I got a set of vector limbs way back in 2001, chose them over the FX limbs at the time, just found them a little more consistent, not as springy but smooth, easy to shoot. Since then shot them in no less then five hoyt risers, the GM, Avalon plus, Matrix, Axis and currently in a helix. They have performed well with all the risers, but have a sneaking suspicion that they have got a little twisted in recent years, but that’s why risers have limb adjustments, right “shrug shoulders”? Good limb particularly if you like that strange feeling of power without the springiness that the Asian manufactured limbs tend to have, that hoyt do so well.

I never owned Vectors myself but they were only a small change from the GM C+ limb which was a great limb - and generally very reliable. I compared a set to my C+ and liked them just as much. I had a set of free FXs that got most of my attention at the time though.

If the limbs are in decent nick you'll be very happy

very good limbs..i had 4 sets of vectors from 34#-42#....upgraded to the M1s when they came out which were supposed to be an improvement of the vectors...very stable and smooth but i needed more speed when i started shooting outdoors and am now using winexes....

Thumbs up Happy with my Vector limbs

After many years of shooting my old KG-1 with very early carbon limbs I treated myself to some Hoyt Vector limbs. I can honestly say they are much smoother and more comfortable to shoot. I hope you enjoy yours as much. They were discontinued about two years ago, so I expect someone is just selling off a job lot of old stock.

Thumbs up

Just shot them for the first time yesterday, honestly the smoothest limbs I've ever shot. Didn't feel any stacking at all pulling around 45lbs at a draw length of 29.75 on medium limbs and I can honestly say it's smoother than the G3s and Extremes although a little lacking in the speed department. Great nick of a price too, I'm sure you'll be real pleased.

Still quite a selection in Alternatives Marketplace - I was wondering about them myself - seems a reasonable deal then at c. £155...?

(minor hijack - anyone know how they compare to w&w carbon focus or synerzy?)

It's on the Alternative Sporting Supplies website. Basically seems to be a 'clearance outlet'.

Access via the third box down on the left hand side of any screen in the shop.

Hope this helps.
