Lightbulb Finger Slings

Since it's the right season I have a tip for making finger slings... If you get any pressies in gift bags, don't throw them away! I've found that the cord handles make excellent finger slings as they are fairly tough, soft on your skin (like fairy ) and normally the right length (or close enough).

Hope this helps people!

Now that is an idea that I like very much, thanks for that.
One small problem; the gift bags we get are usually wine bottle shaped. We recycle these by sending them to someone else the following year!! (tight, or what?)
Do the bags still work without their cords?
Seriously, great idea.

Do you mean you send shoe laces as Christmas presents?
Or replace the cord from the bags with shoe laces?
Or use shoe laces as finger slings?
Don't you find one show keeps falling off?

Jimmy-Jam cord is good, trouble is, I only wear skin in bed (my own).

I gave up using slings some time ago, it's the way I hold my bow. Got a thread on it somewhere.
