They're smooth up to 32" and past, they're very quick and very stable. Nothing wrong with the design at all; in fact, W&W follow their lead. You won't see many if any top archers shooting them, because Border don't sponsor anyone. However, more than one GB team member has told me how much they like Border limbs and that they wished they could get them on a sponsorship deal. Border also back up their products with excellent aftersales service.

The bottom line is as it always is - no limb is infallible, and it comes down to personal taste.

Have fun finding out whether they suit you

I shoot borders and love them to bits. Switched from FX's because I was running out of patience with them. I'm trying to sell my medium 38's at the minute as i'm getting longer ones, at the minute i'm leaning towards HexIV's. I've shot all my bowman scores with them, and those that have them tend to love them.

Where did you get your HexIV's ? I was in Wales Archery on Tuesday and Graham showed me some wood ones. But he said that was as far as Sid had gone so far.

I`m a recent Border convert
previoulsy was shooting with Hoyt Kinetic Limbs 36lb Short
moved on to Border TXG`s 40lb Short
the draw is so smooth the transition was easy
loving em

Ps. no one else round here shoots them either although my local archery shop only seems to sell Hoyt or Border limbs.

I'm Shooting the 68" 38 lb TXG's

Pricy, but superbly built. Smooth, fast, look great

- I don't deserve them but I don't care.

And the after-sales service & backup you get from Sid & the crew isn't bettered by anyone

go for it & Enjoy
