Talking Spigarelli Revolution 25" riser advice

Im looking into buying a new riser and would like some help. Ive been shooting just over a year and shoot a KAP winstar with challenger Craft 36lb limbs.

Ive been drawn to the spigarelli revolution riser which retails at £159.
Does anyone shoot or have any comments on this riser.

For an extra £30 there is the Hoyt Matrix... both are very appealing to me. I have shot a matrix before but can't get my hands on a spigarelli.

Which riser has the better reviews? I cant find any reviews of the spigarelli.

Is there a reason why the spigarelli is not as expensive as other risers?

Any advice would be most helpful.

Cheers

I know two people with the revolution, one is Joelondon - a member here, the other is a member of my club.

Last I heard, Joe was loving his.

The member of my club wasn't so lucky. One of the bolts holding the whole thing together sheared. To the best of my knowledge it never got fixed..he's gone back to his GM.

This is a riser I hankered over for a while..but then fell for something else.

I have shot with the Revolution for about 3 yrs (but dont quote me) nice and light very quiet bow and very nice to look at . I have no complaints at all . Not shot hoyt but did order new limbs hoyt crx but had to send back as they were not matched (could not get limb adjust at all between top and bottom) If you are any where near Arbroath I'll give you a shotty but its is 23"riser . You would really have to try both to see what one suits you. Personally the Revolution is the one for me

One of the guys in my club has got one, he brought it second hand from someone it didn't suit at the public club I shoot with.
The only problem we've had with his is the built in rest is a real pain to adjust, it will only stay in set positions. And works loose easily.

This however could just be his bow.

Spigarelli

I've had a Revolution for about 9 months. I'm with Madmac all the way - I think its a lovely riser - very smooth, quiet, well balanced etc etc. Never had any trouble with adjustment, things falling off. Mine is also 23"

Couple of things - if you don't like ZT arrow rests its not for you - can't see how you would fit anything else. Pressure button needs to be long enough (DX is fine but Cartels no good, for example - shame - NOT!). I

I also found that the edge of the grip is a little sharp where you (if you) curl your knuckles under - solution, thin strip of insulting tape.

Conclusion - I love it! (but you need to give yourself time to get used to it - doesn't feel like anything else I've ever shot)

Thanks. Ive requested one at a shop to go have a look at and shoot...see how it feels. It does look very different, im currently shooting in middlesbrough so cheers for the offer madmic for a shoot but i will grab a go at a shop.

Ive heard there are problems with arrow clearance that was the other thing. Have you heard anything about that?

For an extra £30 there is the Hoyt Matrix...
For 20 quid less, there's the Hoyt Eclipse, of course. Worth a look if you can find stock (reviews here led me to buying mine!)
