Carter Evolution Release Aid?

Hi everyone.

Thinking of changina from A Stana Quatro x Release Aid to A Carter Evolution Back Tension Release Aid, as I like the principler of the idea behind them.

Has any one used The Carter and if so how hard or easy are they to use?
Cheers.

Tony,

Search the forum - there are quite a few posts on the Evolution.

There's even more over on AT- the US branch.

Key thing with evo is the set up- need sto be 2 or 3 lb above your bow holding weight to work properly.

They're a good toy for form development, but I don't intend using mine for outdoor comp.

I haven't shot the evolution (yet). But I have got a Loesch True Back Tension which works on the same principle. It is brilliant, and I will be using it outdoors

its not a good isea to use any form of back tension release outdoors, simlpy because you can loose controle even in light wind conditions and have a shot go off when you dont want it to. Ionly use one indoors.

The safety on an evo is second to none, use it outdoors in windy conditions, if it blows too hard, come down!

Couldn't agree more. I've used mine outside in the wind without any problems.
