| I think you will have no problem if you have your license with you. In France, compound bows are considered as a weapon. But if you can prove you are an archer, there is no problem at all as long as you don't walk in the streets wielding your bow as on a field !...

| Bows Abroad I have taken my bow to Spain on the plane and into France on the boat. The only hassle I had was to persuade EasyJet that a bow was 'sports equipment'. In Spain and France (as in the UK) the transport of potential weapons is just a matter of common sense. Keep the bow and arrows in a closed case for transport, and your GNAS card is a demonstration of reason to have the equipment. Also if you are going to a specific shoot having the invite/shooting list is useful. Generally no difference to the UK. Dave
