| My self and adult son are up for it, if I get an application form intime. I shot one about 5years ago and learnt a lot you will def enjoy it don,nt worry about your scores just shoot and enjoy the occasion. |

| I'll be there. Shooting probably afternoon session in the gents recurve. Matchplay is easy, but better to shoot in the afternoon to avoid the 5-hour wait. That way you can stay warm for the matchplay if you make it through. It's usually well run but I've never made it past the first round of matchplay. Oh, and bring an arrow puller! You'll need it! | Is there an entry form out yet? I've not seen one, but definitely want to go... And agree with Grant on the arrow puller. It's pretty much an essential, unless they've beaten the bosses up a bit since last year. |

GNAS say they'll put the Entry Form out on their website just after Xmas. |

| I'll be there on the compound day, but only if I'm not at the Europeans in Spain instead. The head-to-head stuff is huge fun. As nobody seems to have explained it to you, I'll have a go. After a Fita 18 ranking-round the field is cut at the top 32 scores. These archers then shoot head-to-head knockout matches: lose and you're out. The first two rounds are 18 arrow matches, with the quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds being 12 arrow matches. In the event of a tied score in any match, there is then a single arrow shoot-off. If these also tie, it's repeated and, if tied again, a final closest-to-the-middle arrow is shot. There are awards for the top 3 places in the ranking round, and the first 3 in the head-to-head. Adam |

| Thanks for the explanation Adam I'm not banking on getting past the Ranking round this year, maybe next year However, at least now I know how it all works. I was looking at last years results on the GNAS website and was a bit confused as to how it all worked, but now all is clear ![]() If nothing else it has to be worth the trip just for the experence!?!? |
